Perugia is a city located in the centre of Italy that has a vast and very diverse cultural life.
Its historic centre is home to the city’s most important historical attractions, such as the Fontana con l’orologio (“Fountain with Clock”), the great Roman Theatre located on Via delle Terme, or the dell’olio tower in the northern part of the city.The city of Perugia is the perfect place for enjoying Italian culture. Its local markets, such as the Mercato Coperto, or its cultural centres, such as Teatro Nuevo, bring little Perugia to life.In the Piazza del Duomo square, you will find Perugia’s crowning jewel: the city’s Cathedral. This Romanesque church building is dedicated to Saint Laurent. Of Catholic worship, this building from the beginning of the 15th century is one of the most important historical monuments in the city.Near the Piazza del Duomo square, you will find other tourist attractions such as the Teatro delle Sei, the city’s Opera, or the Di Saint Maria Nella Cathedral.Parking in this area of the city isn’t an easy task as it is made up of a labyrinthine network of alleys and secret locations. We therefore recommend parking your vehicle at the Saba car park located by the Mercato Coperto, just a few metres from the Duomo di Perugia (the city’s Cathedral). This public car park has the most modern facilities and is open 24 hours a day.
