Perugia, with its Pian di Massano Green Trail, thinks of those who'd like to stay fit through outdoor activities.
You can just park your car in the near Porta Nuova parking lot, and get into the green. The Trail provides various jogging trails: the most complete one is 5 km long, and starts from the tree-lined boulevard adjacent the Renato Curi stadium. There's also a cycle path, a mountain bike path, and a baseball field. The laziest visitors can visit the municipal bowling green and ping pong tables. The Green Trail area of Pian di Massiano doesnÂ’t lack bars and restaurants. Inside the area thereÂ’s also the Lino Spagnoli arena, where the US Fortebraccio artistic gymnastics association trains. The Green Trail is perfect for walking, reading or studying outdoors too.
